I often get asked about what kind of voice/communication specific training is available for Microsoft Teams by customers with internal UC departments that have legacy Cisco or Avaya resources who need to be re-trained. In the olden days, not so long ago you would send your people out for a few 5-day instructor lead courses covering Skype for Business Server and Online and everything it entails. If you are well versed in Skype for Business Enterprise Voice, you will understand Microsoft Teams Phone System and its nuances pretty easily.
But does it make sense in this day and age where the voice workloads are moving to Microsoft Teams to send people for full Skype for Business courses? I think not, but there is not a lot of information and formal instructor lead courses around Phone System and everything associated with it on Microsoft Teams.
Having been asked sufficiently I figured I would create a general curriculum for someone who is re-tooling from Avaya/Cisco or any other IP based PBX to Microsoft Teams:
Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS-100)
Anyone working with Microsoft cloud technologies should have a base understanding of Office 365 tenant services and identity management. Training partners offer 5-day instructor led classes in the $3000 range.
Deploying Microsoft 365 Teamwork (MS-300)
If you need to manage and administer aspects of Microsoft Teams other than Phone System the MS-300 certification and associated course-ware is appropriate. Training partners offer 5-day instructor led classes in the $3000 range.
Enabling Teamwork with Microsoft Teams
This self-paced 4 week course (4 hours/week) will cover areas such as configuring voice functionality and and calling features. Offered for online purchase at $99.
The formal Microsoft cloud certification and training relating to Microsoft Teams Phone System features, Direct Routing and voice interoperability is pretty much non-existing from the training partners, however free material is available online.

I could not find any specific courses from AnyNode, Oracle, or Ribbon specific to Microsoft Teams. Only general or customized training is available from those vendors. Should any of these vendors offer a specific course, I would be happy to list them.
